Santa's reindeer have made their way to our Sioux Falls center and they're causing some havoc! Our therapists have split into two teams to find them ASAP! So far, our teams Sleight What? and The Honey Baked Fam have found...
*Dasher in our reinforcement basement. He was keeping an eye on all of the fun we have! 😁 *Prancer trying to make cookies, but he got stuck in the oven. He LOVES cookies! I wonder if that's where Santa gets it from? 🍪 *Vixen, who loves to learn, in the classroom. 🖍 *Comet stuck inside the popcorn machine having a little afternoon snack. 🍿 *Cupid helping herself to the reinforcement and candy drawer. This reindeer has a strong sweet tooth! 🍭
Dasher, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph are still on the loose! Where could they be? 🦌
As we close out this week of celebrating our Veterans and those currently serving, we thank our BCS staff for your service! Here's to Debbie, Tanner, Makayla, Trevor and Michael. Cheers to you! 🤗 ... See MoreSee Less

At Behavior Care Specialists, our staff are following all state and federal requirements and precautions which include the wearing of masks by our staff and all other individuals in our Centers.
Is it a struggle to get your child or family member to wear a face mask? Here are some tips to help those that are struggle adapting to wearing masks:
• Demonstrate using the face mask on an object or person that the individual is comfortable with, such as a stuffed animal, doll, or another family member. • Allow the person to choose among different types of fabric face masks to find one that is most comfortable. • Start by practicing wearing the face mask for short durations of time, allowing for breaks when needed. • Remain calm, cheerful, and supportive whenever you place your mask on to set the example of mask wearing part of a routine. • Begin by planning outings in low-demand environments that are quiet and calm so that the individual can experience success wearing the face mask. • Use a printed or digital photo of the individual wearing a face mask as a visual cue to wear the mask before going out.
